What You’ll Need To Connect​

AlgoTest Account​

You need to have an AlgoTest account. If you don’t have an AlgoTest account, you can create it by clicking on this link.

ICICI Direct Demat Account​

You need to have an active Demat account in Finvasia. If you don’t have an account, Open a demat account in ICICI Direct. Make sure to activate F&O on your account.

Connecting ICICI Direct with AlgoTest​

  • Go to AlgoTest.in. Login to your account. Click on the profile icon at the top right and select Broker Setup.

  • Click on the setup icon located on the right side of the ICICI Direct.

  • Now we need API ID and Secret ID to add ICICI Direct broker in AlgoTest. For that we need to create an API App in ICICI Direct API Portal. Copy the redirect URL as shown in the image below. We will use this Redirect URL while creating an API App in API Portal.

  • Now click on Register an App and Enter any random name in “App Name” and paste the redirect URL that we copied from AlgoTest broker setup page in the “Redirect URL” field and click on the Submit button.

  • Our app was successfully created. Now click on View Apps and it will show API Key and Secret Key on the right side of our App name. You can also see the status is deactive till now. So click on deactive button to activate it. Now copy the API Key and Secret Key from here and paste it into AlgoTest broker setup page as shown in the image below

  • We have successfully added ICICI Direct broker to our AlgoTest Account. Now we just have to login to the Firstock account in AlgoTest. To log in, click on the Login button.

    Note :- Broker Login timing is 08:30 AM to 3:28 PM

  • Once you are logged in, the system will display a status message confirming your login status, as shown in the image below.
