What You’ll Need For Algo Trading with Delta Exchange​

AlgoTest Account​

You need to have an AlgoTest account. If you don’t have an AlgoTest account, you can create it by clicking on this link.

Delta Exchange Account​

You need to have a Demat account with Delta Exchange. If you don't have an account, create an account on Delta Exchange here. Make sure to activate F&O on your account.

Connecting Delta Exchange with AlgoTest​

Go to AlgoTest, login to your account. Click on the Broker Setup at the top right.

You’ll see a dashboard as shown below. Put "Delta Exchange” in the search bar.

You will see the option to set up “Delta Exchange” as shown in the image. Click on the setup.

You will be directed to the page shown in the image below. Now, add the name for this API connection, add your API Key and API Secret Key. Click on “Add Delta Exchange".

To find the API Key & API Secret Key, follow these steps:

  1. Use this link to create an account and avail 10% discount on transaction charges.
  2. Please to go to Delta Exchange and login to your account
  3. Click “Create New API Key”. Enter API Key name as "AlgoTest"
  4. Copy and paste in whitelisted IP (146.190.8.95)
  5. Enable "Trading" in permissions and click on "Create API Key"
  6. You will receive a verification code on your email, enter it.
  7. Enter your 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) code.
  8. Once verified, your API Key and Secret will be shown.

Important: Save both somewhere safe, they won't be shown again.

Copy the API Key and API Secret and paste them above.

Once you are done, click on Setup.

You have successfully added Delta Exchange broker to your AlgoTest Account.
