Crypto Trading is available on AlgoTest​
AlgoTest now supports crypto trading via Delta Exchange. You can backtest, forward test, and automate your crypto strategies just like you do for equities and options, all within the AlgoTest ecosystem.
What You Can Do​
- Backtest your crypto strategies to see how they would have performed historically.
- Forward Test to monitor your strategy in real-time with paper trading.
- Algo Trade live using your Delta Exchange account.
- Use Signals to receive or send crypto strategy alerts.
Getting Started​
To begin crypto trading:
- Create or log in to your Delta Exchange account.
- How to connect Delta Exchange on AlgoTest.
- Choose a strategy and select Crypto (Delta Exchange) as your trading segment.
Key Timings:​

| Trading Start | 6:31 PM | Trading begins for BTC/ETH options |
| Trading End / Expiry | 5:30 PM (next day) | Daily expiry of contracts |
| Maintenance Window | 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM | System and exchange maintenance period |
| Algo / Signal / Forward Test Allowed | 6:31 PM – 5:30 PM | Execution permitted only during this window |
Note: AlgoTest allows crypto execution only within the trading window (6:31 PM – 5:30 PM).
