Auto Activation Crypto

Auto Activation for Crypto allows your portfolios to be deployed automatically at a scheduled time without manual activation. This feature is specific to crypto portfolios executed via Delta Exchange India.

Overview​

Auto Activation for Crypto will attempt to deploy your portfolio at 6:25 PM IST every day.


Once enabled:

  • The system attempts activation at 6:25 PM IST

  • All strategies in the portfolio are deployed automatically

  • Activation follows all-or-nothing logic

    • Entire portfolio activates

    • Or nothing activates (no partial execution)

If Auto Activation is turned on after 6:25 PM IST, the activation attempt will occur the next day.

Crypto Market Timing​

Unlike Indian markets, crypto markets run 24×7. However, for scheduling and system maintenance on AlgoTest:

Market Close (system): 5:30 PM IST
Auto Activation Time: 6:25 PM IST
Market Open (system): 6:30 PM IST

When Auto Activation is enabled before 6:25 PM IST, the portfolio activation is scheduled for that same day. If enabled after 6:25 PM IST, activation runs the following day.

Enabling Auto Activation​

To enable Auto Activation for a crypto portfolio:

  1. Complete the execution setup for all strategies in the portfolio.

  2. Open the Auto Activation page for your crypto portfolio.

  3. Choose your scheduling mode: Days (Mon–Fri) or DTE (Days to Expiry).

  4. Turn on Auto Activation.

Once set, the system will automatically attempt to deploy your portfolio daily at the scheduled time.

Plan Limits (Crypto)​

Crypto trading on AlgoTest for Delta Exchange India is completely free.

There are no execution limits for Auto Activation in crypto. You can deploy and activate any number of strategies within a portfolio without restriction.

Important Conditions​

Broker Login​

Ensure your broker account is logged in before 6:25 PM IST.

Portfolio Changes​

You must revisit the Auto Activation page and update the Auto Activation if:

  • A new strategy is added

  • Weekday or DTE for any strategy is modified

  • Execution setup is updated

If execution setup is incomplete, Auto Activation will not run.

Error Notifications​

If an Auto Activation attempt fails due to strategy validation, execution setup issues, or broker login problems, notifications will be delivered via the UI and any verified communication channels (email/Telegram).
