Signals for MCX
You can run external signals on MCX commodities with Signals Classic (Your Signal). Signals AI doesn't support MCX yet.
Signals Classic
Signals Classic takes alerts from a source such as TradingView, Chartink, or Custom Scripts, and executes them through a strategy you pick.
To run signals on MCX:
- Build a 920 Simple strategy on an MCX commodity and save it. 920 Simple supports all ten commodities. It saves only; you can't backtest on it.
- Create a signal and choose your source, for example TradingView Indicators, Chartink, or Custom Scripts.
- Choose Algo Trade or Forward Test.
- Pick your MCX 920 Simple strategy and finish the setup.
For the full walkthrough, see the Signals documentation.
A strategy connected to one signal source isn't offered for another source. If you want the same MCX strategy on TradingView and Chartink, create one strategy for each source.
Live MCX execution is available on Zerodha only, and the commodity segment must be active on your account. Otherwise your MCX signal orders are rejected.
Signals AI
Signals AI doesn't support MCX commodities yet. You can't pick an MCX commodity as the instrument for a Signals AI strategy. See Choosing Chart Data for the instruments Signals AI supports today.
