ClickTrade for MCX

You can build MCX commodity positions in the ClickTrade Strategy Builder, with the option chain, positions, payoff, and greeks, just as for indices.

What you need​

  • The ClickTrade plan.
  • The MCX add-on. Without it, picking an MCX commodity shows the MCX Plan upsell and the builder stays on your previous underlying. You also can't view MCX option chains.

Build an MCX position​

  1. Open the Strategy Builder.
  2. In the underlying picker, select the MCX tab and choose a commodity.
  3. Add positions from the option chain, or add futures.

The chain marks the Synthetic FUT price at the ATM strike. Lot sizes match the MCX lot size table.

GOLDPETAL and GOLDTEN show the futures contract only, with no option chain.

Charts for MCX​

MCX has no spot chart, so charts work a little differently:

  • Underlying shows the current-month futures chart.
  • Strategy and Combined show "Create a strategy to view chart" until you add positions.

For NSE and BSE indices, stocks with F&O, and crypto, you can open the spot chart without adding any positions. That isn't possible for MCX.
