Broker-wise Available and Blocked margin

While placing a trade from Strategy Builder, you can view your broker's last fetched Available Margin and Blocked Margin before executing the strategy.

This helps ensure sufficient funds are available before placing orders.

How to View Broker Margin​

  1. Go to Strategy Builder.

  2. Build your strategy.

  3. Proceed to the Order placement window.

  4. Select your broker.

  5. The Available Margin and Blocked Margin will be displayed for the selected broker.

  6. You can also view Available and Blocked Margin on broker setup under 'my brokers'.

Important Points to Remember​

  • Margin values are fetched from the selected broker whenever supported.

  • The displayed values represent the last successful fetch.

  • If the broker does not support margin APIs, AlgoTest will display internally calculated blocked margin instead.
