Risk Monitoring Dashboard
We’ve made significant enhancements to how you can monitor and manage risk across your strategies. These updates give you tighter control over your active positions, reduce risk exposure, and ensure you never miss key alerts.
What’s New
1. Risk Dashboard Auto-Inclusion for New Strategies
-
All new strategies, whether created via Strategy Builder or connected via Trade Bridge, are now automatically added to your Risk Dashboard.
-
This dashboard provides a consolidated view of live and forward test strategy positions, including MTM and risk metrics.
You can find the dashboard by clicking on "Risk Dashboard" from the dropdown menu:

Limit: A maximum of 100 strategies (combined across Live Trade and Forward Test) can be monitored at a time.
Here is how all strategies from Strategy Builder are shown on the Risk Dashboard.

Here is how all strategies from Trade Bridge are shown on the Risk Dashboard.

2. Manual Inclusion for Existing Strategies
- Strategies created before are not auto-included.
- You need to manually select which of your existing (non-archived) strategies should appear in your Risk Dashboard. This is a one-time action.
3. Archived Strategies Are Excluded
- Archived strategies will not be included in the Risk Dashboard.
- If you'd like to monitor them again, simply unarchive and re-include them (subject to the 100-strategy limit).
4. MTM Column in Positions View
- A new MTM (Mark-to-Market) column has been added to the Positions View.
- You can now track real-time profit/loss directly in the positions panel.

5. Strategy Monitoring Limit & Warning
- Once you cross the 100 monitored strategy limit, AlgoTest will show a warning when you try to add a new one:
Please archive some old strategies and include this strategy in the monitored list.
Monitor Button for Manual Control
- Each strategy in the dashboard now has a “Monitor” toggle.
- Use it to select which strategies contribute to your Risk Dashboard.
- This gives you control over what’s monitored, especially useful for power users managing many strategies.

The same process is applicable for Forward Test.
