Multi-Broker Strategy Execution

Feature Overview​

With AlgoTest's latest update, traders can now activate and execute the same strategy across multiple brokers directly from a single interface. This is particularly useful for traders who:

  • Operate accounts across multiple brokers
  • Want to diversify executions across brokers
  • Prefer setting different position sizes per broker

How to Use Multi-Broker Execution​

Step 1: Navigate to the AlgoTrade Page​

  1. Log in to your AlgoTest account.
  2. On the top navigation bar, hover over "Algo Trade".

  1. Select "Algo Trade" from the dropdown.

This opens the Algo Execution Page, divided into two sections:

  • My Strategies
  • Algo Trade

Step 2: Search and Activate Strategy with Multiple Brokers​

  1. Head to Strategies section

  2. Use the search bar in My Strategies to find the strategy you want to activate.

  1. After selecting strategy, click the "Activate" button.

  1. A broker selection popup will appear.

What You’ll See:​

  • All broker accounts connected and logged in/off via your AlgoTest account
  • A field to set quantity multipliers per broker

What You Can Do:​

  • Select one or more brokers to deploy the strategy simultaneously
  • Set different lot sizes for each broker using the quantity multiplier field

Example:

  1. Click "Done"
  2. Confirm activation by clicking "Activate on Brokers" (e.g., “Activate on 2 Brokers”)

Your strategy is now live across all selected brokers with respective quantity settings.

Multi-Broker Activation for Portfolios​

You can also activate an entire portfolio of strategies across multiple brokers in a similar way:

  1. Select a portfolio under the My Strategies section.

  1. Click "Activate".

  1. You'll find the below screen showing an option to select brokers.

  1. In the broker selection popup:
    • Choose multiple brokers
    • Assign different quantity multipliers per broker

Just like individual strategies, your entire portfolio can now be executed simultaneously across brokers with full control.

Monitoring Your Strategies​

From the "Algo Trade" Page​

Once activated:

  • All active strategies, portfolios, and RA algos appear here
  • View individual MTM (Mark-to-Market) for each strategy
